Tom heads up deeptech investing activity and portfolio management at Martlet.

Tom joined Martlet in 2015 and was part of the team responsible for spinning out the fund from a large corporate into its own independent entity in 2021.

Prior to joining Martlet, Tom worked in early stage investing, including roles with two UK Angel Investor of the Year award winners, as well as Cambridge Enterprise and Cambridge Capital Group. He has also worked in operational and finance based roles for a number of technology companies. He has a first class business degree.

Tom is currently part of the Science and Technology Venture Capital Fellowship programme, that is run by Imperial College London and the Royal Academy of Engineering, with support from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
